Oideachas Intercultural Education Brochure
The department of education needed a brochure to explain the new intercultural eduction policy in primary schools. I designed the brochure and directed the accompanying photography.
The photography took place in a Dublin school showing the students daily interactions with each other. Some of their artwork portraying their diverse backgrounds were also included.
Each section was categorized by its own colour theme. Simple, clear typography was used throughout, using the “scratch” technique from the title cover to provide continuity throughout the different chapters of the brochure.
Because this is a reference work and not to be read cover to cover like a book, I used a comb binding so that the brochure could be opened on any section and would lie flat on a desk so that the reader could take notes while studying its content.
