The Mansion House

Promotional packaging and keepsake

The Mansion House on Dawson Street, Dublin, has been the official residence of the Lord Mayor of Dublin since 1715, and was also the meeting place of Dáil Éireann from 1919 until 1922. It is one of our cities finest and most loved buildings. I was asked to design a promotional pack for visiting guests.

The solution I created included a set of postcards, simply yet classically designed, printed on a high quality stock housed within an envelope. I used photography of the interior of the house along with some of the house contents to tell the history of the Mansion house. The envelope I decorated using some of the architectural detailing within the house to create a memorable keepsake.
