Packaging design
Alan Ardiff is an Irish artist who likes to work in a number of art media – bronze, etching, print, painting and wearable art pieces. He creates jewellery from a combination of gold and silver, with a number of the jewellery pieces incorporating kinetic parts – birds swing, stones rock and hearts roll!
I was asked to design attractive packaging that would securely house some of his jewellery collection. I wanted the individual pieces to really stand out and shine and decided to simply emboss the logo so that it wouldn’t distract from the jewellery in any way.
